Journal 74 - You Can't See Me

Journal 74

Monday - 11-8-10

[I've decided to start adding the days to my journals, since I never get them up exactly on the day/day after they happen… It's easier for me to go -- okay, the last day I wrote on was Sunday! etc.]

Actor on the Metro - "All this from a smile!"

I was standing on the Metro, with all of my stuff, and the train was *packed.* Sometime later, I guess a spot opened up behind me, and a middle-aged man told me, "Young lady, sit down." I thanked him, smiled, and sat.

I didn't think anything else of it, until I got off the train at my stop. As I hit the top of the escalator, I saw the same man next to me. We smiled at each other again -- and then he struck up a conversation with me, asking if I liked Theatre at all. Obviously, I do -- so I said yes -- and he mentioned he was an Actor. Film, not stage, apparently.

So, he invited me out to a show sometime this weekend. I asked if I could bring a friend (because, well, I don't know this guy at all, and I'm not about to go meet someone by myself!) - and we exchanged numbers. I also intend to get a last name first. But, I wouldn't complain about another nice "chance meeting" story. =^__^=

I parted from Actor Guy outside the metro, and went straight to the studio for practice -- Roma could make it today, that was good!

I got there before him though -- Vitaly was also there, practicing before his lessons, I guess. I can't really say, because he didn't say anything to me.

And I didn't say anything to him.

It sounds childish, and it really is, I suppose. But I figured if he didn't want to say hi, after yesterday, I certainly wasn't going to go running to him.

So, I guess we were pretending we didn't see each other? Hard to do when there are only four of you in the studio. Ha ha ha.

Roma showed up eventually, thank Heavens, and I had someone to focus on. Vitaly said hi to Roma while he was sitting right next to me. Go figure.

The first time we even "communicated," -- Vitaly and I, that is -- something had happened betwixt Roma and me, I don't even remember what, but I think it was that Roma didn't lead something right -- and Vitaly saw it, and this look passed between us. Truly, I don't even know what to describe it as. Mischievous? The kind of look your dog gives you when it knows it's in trouble, and it's trying to get back into your good graces? Charming?

I don't know, as I said.

I was actually surprised when he spoke to me -- but it was only to ask if I had some certain types of songs. He was doing a lesson for a pair of kids whom I adore, so, for their sake, I answered in the affirmative. I don't think they ever needed my music though.

Given that we weren't speaking to each other tonight, I wonder how my lessons will go tomorrow…..

Penthouse again -- None of our girls were there!!! So disappointed.

Pete sent another girl to dance with me, when she was trying to dance with him for the, "The Girls Choose" song -- she found out I was American, and the first thing she said was, "Fast Food!" and grabbed at my belly!!!! Guess that shows you the impressions we've made sometimes… Thankfully, she was surprised when she grabbed at me, and found mostly muscle. Ha ha ha...
