(Please Be Warned - There is mention of being at a strip club at the end this post. Nothing graphic now -- though as this post gets edited, there will be an honest description of the place. Still, if you have anything against the idea of strip clubs, you happen to be a younger person reading this, or you are an older person who is going to share this post with someone younger -- you've been warned, the content is here.)

Class - teachers were surprised that it was my birthday! Lots of wonderful well-wishes! Russians are AMAZING at that… It's just a gamut of praise, and love, and affection -- by the end of hearing birthday/any occasion congratulations from a Russian, you feel as if you should be singing the praises of the person who's just wished you so many wonderful things!! Ha ha ha! It's amazing.

I started trying to plan my traditional meal at Hard Rock Café. I thought I'd do it tomorrow, because I'd have lessons tonight, but then I got a message from Vitaly… No lessons… :( So then I had to message the people I'd started setting up lunch with, to tell them that it wouldn't be happening, because Vitaly wanted to do lessons right when I had intended to do lunch….
I haven't had lessons in 2 weeks -- I *need* the lessons. But I won't lie and say I wasn't bummed about both not having lessons today, and not getting to have lunch with my friends/celebrate my tradition/birthday tomorrow.
At least Vitaly wished me well for my birthday.

Still went to the studio.
Practiced myself, and with Roma some. We met briefly to discuss what we wanted to do with lessons, etc., and then went to go start working. Mostly basic things; trying to figure out where we have problems with connection, etc. Went alright.

Chatted with Dennis (Katya's Partner) again -- good times!

Had talked about going to go meet up with Pete. Once I got out of the studio, I did so. Told him I blamed him for Tyler's MMQ birthday wish. Though we all laughed about it. *shrugs* Tyler's one of the only ones who could know, after all. :O
Then, I got taken for a Helluva Surprise. As only Moscow can deliver. Ha ha ha!
(Which is to say that my friends took me to the Penthouse [Strip] Club on Novyi Arbat street. And that turned into quite the adventure with Victoria...)
