Guess who's NOT going to her first Latin Lesson in Russia?
Yup -- just about 10 minutes ago, I finished canceling my lesson. There aren't words to explain how depressed and disappointed I am right now. … Even chocolate can't help. (I've had two mini-butterfinger bars already, and I'm eyeing my Oreos -- trust me. Not helping.)
It's not even that I feel worse today -- I actually feel better. My lungs don't really hurt when I breathe deeply (just an eensy bit), and my sinuses are clearer still today. … But when I got up when I heard Olga was up… She told me she, and Igor, (and Polina?) are all sick today!!!! = ToT = I almost cried, I felt so awful…. And it was even worse, because she was telling me how she can't go work when she is sick, because she works with little kids, and how Igor never gets sick -- and she was so nervous about Polina getting sick (that she was trying to keep us from seeing each other much) -- and I tried so hard to stay out of the way, and not be around them!!!
And now look.
They're all sick. Olga won't be able to go to work. And I'm so terrified about getting more people sick that I've cancelled my lesson. Which I've been looking forward to for almost 2 months now -- just being here. It's been more than a year that I was waiting for that lesson, from the States….
I rescheduled for Tuesday -- but now I'm going to miss part of the hustle party… Great. =>_<=
… I think the worst part of all is that I used up my phone money yesterday, and now, unless I go out to pay somewhere, I can't even call anyone [who would understand] and talk about it.
Enter my first, truly, BAD day. =ToT=
