... But at least there's Puppy Chow! No, really -- I haven't packed yet, but I made three full batches of Puppy Chow. My lovely friend Bekah could vouch for me! She helped! And then, once mum got home, we watched Phantom of the Opera; so, the evening was a bit full.
So why didn't I pack this afternoon, you ask? Because I was *unpacking* stuff from school (Yes, still -- it's been a busy holiday season here, okay?), in order to *pack* it (So that my room can be clean in order to be shown, so that my family can move, while I'm in Russia...); but I will have to *unpack* what I've *just* packed, in order to *pack* for Florida! Whereupon my return, I will have to *unpack* in order to *pack* for Russia, and then will have to pack everything else away for the move. You following still? Points if you are; my understanding if you are not. Oh, Life. Always keeps me on my toes.
Knowing that all of that has been going on, and I still have yet to pack for my impending flight, you may be wondering why I'm writing this blog right now. The answer to that friends, is, "internet access!" That and the "habit-making" I talked about yesterday. Simply put, the internet is not assured while I am in Florida, and so this may be the last post that I get to put up, for a bit. Rest assured, that if I cannot post while I am down in Florida, I will be *writing* entries, and they will go up as soon as I get home.
I'm SO excited though! I spoke with my Nana and my cousin today, and all three of us just cannot wait to get together, and visit. I'm looking forward to seeing all of my friends while I'm down there, and having a few get togethers. I'm certainly excited about the pictures and video I'll be taking while I'm there! I have to make sure I get my fill of that little slice of Heaven, as I won't be back there for quite some time after this.
Given the latest current events, I'm not quite sure what to expect from TSA tomorrow. But it's certain that I will, in fact, be showing up the full two hours before my flight! I'm not sure that I've done that for a domestic flight for a LONG time. I certainly hope things won't be too difficult. I'll be trying to travel with a roll-on bag, nothing checked, so that I can avoid the fees now, and save the money for when I'm trying to get all of my Russia-Luggage to DC! Oy, that's gonna be a trip, no puns intended... In any case, I'll fill you all in on how good/bad it is tomorrow, when I have the chance.
Keep your fingers crossed that the cold snap breaks!! Freezing weather in Florida... It's not supposed to be that way!! (Although, I have seen it snow there, years ago...)
