Lesson w/ Vitaly
New place

Started even later - don't know why
Jive!
Pat on the head story (as related to a friend)
"MK: So today, I totally hit a new "low," when it comes to leaving people speechless at my genuineness.
MK: Or something like that. *laughs*
MK: To tell the truth, I haven't quite figured out the exact cause/effect. *laughs*
MK: We do my lesson; I go to change before I go to pay -- and when I come back out, Vitaly's already teaching another lesson.
MK: Being that we didn't say, "You can pay next time," and that I was raised in the world of, "You receive a service, you pay for it then, if there's no other arrangement," I didn't want to walk out without giving Vitaly his money
MK: I thought he might see I was out, and leave the kids he was working with for a few seconds -- but no luck.
MK: I had seen that the studio had a "front desk," of sorts, so I went up to that, and tried to tell the lady I needed to pay Vitaly still, and didn't want to leave without doing so -- and when I finally got her to understand what I meant, she said, "Just sit down there, he'll see you, and come over eventually."
MK: Except that "eventually" turned into, "a little over an hour later," when the lesson he was doing was over. (Wasn't so bad for me, I had a book, and was in no particular rush at that point. Just was going to practice at the other studio once I finished.)
MK: I get in line behind the kids to pay, and when Vitaly sees me, he gets a look of surprise on his face, and asks, "Kat' ? What are you still doing here??"
MK: I told him, "I hadn't paid you yet -- I couldn't leave. That lady told me to just sit here."
MK: He looks a little dumbstruck, and asks, "Why didn't you come up to me and say something?"
MK: (At this point, I'm crouching down to get money out of my back on the ground, and he is standing beside me)
MK: I looked up, shrugged, and said simply, "You were teaching - I didn't want to disturb you."
MK: And it was either that people just aren't that polite here, or he was dumbstruck at my genuine-ness, or there was some other emotion going on that I can't even guess -- because he just said, "Oh, Cat.." ran out of words, and then patted me on the head.
MK: I got *patted on the head.*
