Today started with me making good on my promise to find the "song that doesn't exist!" I was so thrilled!!!
I'll say this, when it comes to searching for songs/music, being able to search in a combination of English and Russian is *very* helpful!!
Still, it was only a half victory -- I managed to find the song, but no technical name, and no artist. [The song, loosely, is called, "Chica." Of course, depending on who you are, and how creative you're feeling, or what alphabet you're more comfortable with, that can also turn into, "Chika."]

Moving on to the dance part of the day...
I've discovered that Winter Time makes our studio's changing rooms DREADFULLY unpleasant. By this, I mean that they are almost unheated -- so sitting in one of them is hardly better than sitting outside. (Okay, it's still better, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was only 40-50 degrees fahrenheit in there.)
Most of the time, I'm spared from feeling the chill too terribly, because I've been speed walking from the Metro to get inside; so if anything, I am a little warm when I head in. But heaven help you if you've cooled down before you enter the changing room! Brr!!!

As for the dancing, this being a Tuesday, I showed up for practice early, and intended to do homework during the group lesson, then leave for hustle.
This led to a bit of a communication problem with Roma, whom I told that I would be there to practice before the group lesson, and then I would not be staying. He replied, saying that he was going to show up -- essentially, to do the group lesson. That struck me as odd, so I responded to him, trying to make sure he understood that I didn't intend to stay. When I finally got my message across, he said he wouldn't be coming tonight, and that we would practice tomorrow, then.
Speaking of problematic communications, I still haven't heard from Vitaly in any manner. I talked with Angelina, one of his other students (Little Sasha's partner), and she said that he was sick. That's unfortunate, and there's no controlling it. If he is, I hope he gets better soon, so that we can get back to work!! (And so that he feels better. Being sick is no fun.)

All that aside, I practiced, it went okay, and then I left the main studio hall as the group lesson was starting, in order to do my homework. Because I had been practicing, the area outside of the hall didn't feel all that cold to me -- but the adults sitting and waiting for their children were still swaddled in their heavy jackets. Two of the mums looked at me, aghast, as I sat down -- in pants and a tank top -- and began to work.
"Where is your jacket?!" They asked. "You'll freeze!!!!"
I figured I could oblige them, and I went to go and get a jacket, albeit a light one.
… I was happy I did!! As I sat there, the chill in the area became more and more noticeable to me, and I was wondering, "Why does the heat in this building not reach back here!?!??!"
I kept on trucking through my homework, probably subconsciously hunching lower and lower over it as time passed, in order to conserve heat; and I was quite happy when it was time for me to leave for hustle! (And therefore, warmer climes!)

Hustle was fun -- but Fate struck again, and thew me another song that doesn't seem to exist!!!
I danced to an absolutely *killer* song, and when it finished, I raced to Yuri, and asked him to tell me what the song was. He did, and I wrote it down, intending to look for it when I got home.
I looked… *Nothing.*
This caused me to kick myself for not remembering more of the lyrics, in order to look that way.
[Update -- As it happens, I wrote down the artist's name wrong. But even then, that song was not the one that I'd heard!! So I'm still stuck!! :(
Update Update -- Not an hour after writing the previous update, I thought, "Well, maybe it was still a song by that artist?" I remembered a minor stretch of lyrics, and tried it. While I'm not certain that the song I found was the same version of the song that I had heard, instinct says that it's about the same thing, and I am happy to have found the song at all.
A Note On The Update -- In the last few days, I have been blessed enough to be finding one, "unknown/nonexistent" song after the next! Hooray for having awesome music, and overcoming the odds to find it! =^___^=]
